What is TDSP?

 

Texas Disciples Sports Performance (formally Texas Disciples Sports & Fitness) started with five teenage clients in June 2008. Our primary focus was properly and professionally transforming these young athletes to achieve their optimal performance. Our program is specialized not only in performance training but injury prevention as well. We focus on strengthening major and minor muscles to prevent injuries. We aim to help you succeed by committing to your success!

 

Performance Training is a broad term that describes various training techniques used for athletes. Using various techniques to improve the capabilities of an individual’s neuromuscular system in order to enhance athletic abilities would be one example of Performance Training.

 

 

We have taken arguably the most valued and complex skills in most major sports “speed specific strength/power, agility, speed endurance, and raw speed”, then molded it into a program that develops and improves the fitness and performance of novice and intermediate individuals in a way that is sustainable physically and will not create aversions to fitness.

 

We make it a point to be inclusive to everyday people.  However, speed, agility, and power are skills that compliment individuals of most fitness levels.  We carefully select physical skills that are often avoided by the general public because many are intimidated by specific training exercises. We’re changing the way people think about performance training. We’re the best at what we do in regards to general & sports performance.
